Se trata de un puerto de 5.6 km con altos contrastes en el que podemos encontrar asfalto, tierra y hormigon y pendientes muy dispares que alcanzan casi el 18 % de desnivel en alguno de sus tramos.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La ascensi\u00f3n comienza en Gilet tomando la carretera que sube hacia Santo Esp\u00edritu. Realmente, estos dos primero kil\u00f3metros son muy suaves con pendientes medias inferiores al 3 %. Poco antes de llegar al monasterio de Santo Esp\u00edritu nos desviamos a la derecha para continuar por un camino de tierra donde el puerto se pone serio. El siguiente kil\u00f3metro y medio es terror\u00edfico. En este tramo encontramos la rampa m\u00e1s dura de toda la ascensi\u00f3n 200 metros mantenidos a casi el 18%. Por suerte, el tramo m\u00e1s duro se encuentra hormigonado.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n encontramos un peque\u00f1o tramo de descanso circulando junto a una finca de naranjos donde la pendiente media vuelve a caer.
